Make a GSM Signal Detector

Celluar GSM Detector

The people over at Circuit Projects bring us another great circuit. As usual, the project is easy to build with a small circuit count. Their electronics circuits remind me a lot of the Velleman kits and old Heathkit projects except Circuit Projects isn’t selling anything.

On to the circuit, which is a GSM cell phone detector. The circuit requires one op-amp IC and then a handful of passive devices. The write-upis complete and includes a description of the circuit operation along with the calculations used to get the correct antenna length.
