I don’t know much about Uze except that he likes Gameboy Advance audio. He also made an open-source game console, so he’s got that going for him. The Uzebox is based on an overclocked ATmega644 and uses an AD725 for RGB-to-NTSC conversion. That is it for the chip count!! Two. Since this is an 8-bit design, the NES compatible joypad inputs just seem perfect. All it needs to finish it off is one of these Nintendo switch assemblies. <via Hack a Day post comments>

Mykle Hansen likes his unix, his Mac and riding his bike. I can’t figure out too much more from his blog. He did make a kick-ass vest that displays his current speed. He calls it Speed Vest. It uses an Arduino to sense the speed and then display it on the vest using electro-luminescent wires. To make the project just a little cooler, the EL wires are laid out in a nixie tube style. There is separate post that has a video of the Speed-Vest in action. <via OhGizmo!>

There are lots of write-ups for line follower robots, but they usually are complicated. First, the beginner is expected to learn a new microcontroller like a Basic Stamp or Arduino. Next they need to interface it with some servos which need to be modified for continuous rotation. Pratheek does away with that mess in his robot tutorial . All logic is controlled by transistors and the motors are simple electric ones with gear reduction. This project is well documented and includes lots of pictures.

Kallahar built a complete autonomous gun platform called the the Robot Airsoft. He documented the whole thing, providing a complete parts list, software, and even the autocad files. He does everything but build it. Still too lazy? He will build it for you and test it.
He said the design would work well at the Defcon Robot Contest or at the RoboGames event. He should know because he is the organizer of the Defcon event (and thus unable to compete). He competed at Robogames and took second place. <via Hacked Gadgets>

This Burning Man creation has great build quality and a large number of build pictures. According to Autoblog, all power goes to the right rear wheel while the left rear wheel is for braking. Autoblog also has thumbnails that make the pictures easier to look through. Finally, here are some pictures of the Dog Sled in action. <via BikeHacks>
